Established in 1977, Fire District 5 is a combination fire department consisting of a four (4) platoon, 24-hour shift schedule rotating day to day staffed by a mixture of full time, part time and volunteer firefighters to ensure a staffed fire apparatus is ready to respond at a moments notice 24/7/365. GTFD No. 5 specializes in emergency response and preparedness through training, education and awareness from our fire station located in the Lambs Terrace section of Gloucester Township.

Fire District 5 firefighters continuously collaborate with mutual aid partners from our surrounding borders consisting of Erial, Blackwood, Chews Landing, Glendora, Pine Hill and Winslow Township daily through emergencies and training.
